We were asked by BAE Systems through Cass Associates in Liverpool to produce a series of websites that provided information to local communities on plans for new developments on the sites of former airfields and ordnance factories at Woodford, Featherstone and Bishopton.
A feature of these sites was the ability to display plans of future developments at a scale that could be easily read and commented on. This necessitated a simple theme that also reflecting BAE Systems corporate branding and the case of the Bishopton site, the needs of their developer partner.
These sites required a very quick turnaround from commissioning to going live and also incorporated sophisticated questionnaire and reporting systems for the public consultation feedback as well as blogging and interaction through a comments system.
